The Falchion is a very heavy curved blade. Given the right momentum and a capable wielder (min dexterity of 11) the weapon may gain an additional 2 steps to an armour defeating hit. However due to the weight of the weapon a character recieves a -1 initiative modifier. In addition the character should roll for knockdown (vs. str step) whenever a poor failure (success) occurs.
