Commentary
If one can describe an animal as ugly, the hyena surely is. Hyenas have a shaggy, short fur and their hind legs are a bit longer than their front ones.
Hyenas seem to laugh when communicating with each other and make rather unpleasant sounds.
They are about the size of a wolf, slower in movement, but much tougher when it comes to endurance. Although they are said to be only a scavenger this is untrue, hyenas do hunt other animals and will attack namegivers if they feel hungry enough and the namegivers look 'weak'.
