Loot: The leather bat-like wings can be used to make a very resilient type of normal leather armor which seems to absorb light.

The armor has the following statistics: Armor: 5 (0/4/4/3)   Mystic Armor: 3   Ini.: 0   Weight: 14-18lbs   +3 Steps when using the shadow hide knack; +1 Step when using silent walk; +6 to the effect of the Command Nightflyer spell (Nethermancer 1); -1 (-2) Step on reaction tests from NPC's (Sky Raiders) due to the negative 'feeling' this armor has.
Doing this is worth 300 Legend Points (450 for a Weaponsmith).
The armor is worth 600 to 1000sp.

    Commentary
These constructs where made by the horror Unlaguul which is known to reside not on earth but instead terrorize the skies with its presence.[ Terror ] Unlaguul has destroyed at least five trollish Kaers during the last scourge in search for his favorite prey - the Sky Raiders.

Jel' Had are approximately 4 feet in height, 6 feet in length and have a massive wingspan of about 20 feet, the have two extremely long and thin arms ending in razor-sharp claws. They are jet-black and seem to absorb the dim moonlight surrounding them.
Jel' Had are never encountered by day, since the fiery rays of the sun burn their skin and would kill them in a few hours.

In combat the Jel' Had usually try to swoop down on their prey and use Terror Power to immobilize their prey with fear, after that they either attack with their claws or try to snatch their victim and carry him or her high up in the sky, a victim snatched and affected by terror needs a good success to shake of his fear. When reaching a height of about 1000 yards the Jel' Had will drop the victim, but will dive straight after him until shortly before the victim hits the ground to relish in the screams of the falling.
Another method of attack is to summon (see below) masses of blood drinking bats or other 'nightflyers' to feed upon immobilized victims. (I know that most bats are omnivorous and that those who drink blood drink need only a few drops but hey it's fantasy...)

    New Horror Power :

Summon Nightflyers: This Power allows the Horror to Summon a number of nightflyers equal to the test result rolled. The nightflyers are normal in nature and are under the command of the horror, although a successful command nightflyer spell may wrestle control from the horror if the caster succeeds in a test against the horrors Spell Defense.
The Power can only summon nightflyers which are already in an area of about on mile radius centered on the horror and can be used any number of times until all nightflyers in the area are surrounding the horror.
