my fear is overwhelming, Brutha has died today, or was it yesterday ? He still grins at me even though I have smashed his head. He always stands up again and laughs , he laughs and laughs, I can hear it echo in my brain. I can't stand it anymore... |

Commentary As noted above Ushaar's primary field of study are death and the anguish and fear of the living before the realm of the dead. He usually picks out one character which he kills with his spells, then animates or gives unnatural live to the character to haunt his companions and urge them to destroy their former comrade only to start the circle anew. Once he grows tired of this he uses his ability to corrupt the reality and bend it to his will to cause strife and fighting within a community, for example by giving one of the persons the face of a deceased and replacing his real self by a animated and cloaked automaton. In combat Ushaar relies totally on his spells to fend of any attack, but may use unnaturally alive "henchmen" to fend of physical attacks against his body. When fought with the same strategy for some time (e.g. warriors with air dance and acrobatic strike) he seeks to disable the talents a character is relying on by using his disrupt magic power.
Notes: Corrupt Reality and Disrupt Magic are powers from the Horrors Sourcebook, pages 99-100; |
